I have applied for this Graphic Design course because it is encouraging me to work with lots of different media, I particularly enjoy being creative and experimental. I think the course content covers a wide range of disciplines, that will also allow me to gain more knowledge and skills in helping me progress to become a successful graphic designer.

I love to work with photography and illustrator, the combination of these two areas enables me to explore the creatively possibilities,  and using the medias to come up with a wide rage of graphic design ideas. Music is what inspires me the most, and I love getting involved with band photography and attending concerts, I undertake a great deal of freelance photography, and find this very satisfying to work in a 'live' environment.

My future ambitions are to develop my practical skills at university, and become more sophisticated in my aesthetic design understanding. I am very focussed and motivated, and know this area of the creative industry is very competitive.

My personal influences are from artists such as Jon Burgerman. I like his style of illustrations and the way he uses bright colours and imaginative illustrations in his work. Vault 49's work is also a great influence on my work, I like how they use different medias to create their designs. I think these artists impact on my work greatly.
